  • 2018 (February 5) World premiere of Dreamer's Lullaby for Piano composed for and performed by Petros Bouras at the St. Gilles City Hall in Brussels, Belgium. Attendees included former Minister-President of the Brussels Capital-Region Charles Picqué and Ambassador Eleftheria Galathianaki, Greek Ambassador to Belgium.
  • 2017 (December 14) World premiere of Piano Trio No. 2 performed by the Galan Trio at the Megaron Theater complex in Athens, Greece. The concert includes a "Theme and Variations" composed jointly by T. Bramel, D. Haladjian, H. Weiss, V. Pereira, V. Kennedy, and N. Xanthoulis.
  • 2017 (November) - Composer in Residence, Bloedel Reserve, Bainbridge Island, Washington
  • 2017 (October 20) - The Galan Trio released Switch, a CD of new trios composed especially for them. The CD includes Thomas Bramel's Piano Trio No. 2 and trios by five internationally known composers: David Haladjian (Switzerland/Armenia), Harald Weiss (Germany), Vasco Pereira (Portugal), Vincent Kennedy (Ireland), and Nikos Xanthoulis (Greece).

  • 1995-2016 - Employed by The Library of Congress in various multimedia-related positions. Composed scores for numerous Library-produced video productions.
  • 1994 - Composed the score for Don’t Get Weary: African Americans in 18th-Century Alexandria Produced by Robert Cole Films for the Carlyle House Historic Park, Alexandria, Virginia
  • 1993 - Composed the theme song for It’s Only Politics produced by National Empowerment Television (NET) Satellite Network.
  • 1992 (March 6) - Duo for Violin and Violoncello performed by the Emerald Duo at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Annandale, Virginia
  • 1992 - Composed Golden Anniversary March commissioned by the Maryland Music Educators Association and performed by the Maryland All State Band, Ocean City, Maryland
  • 1991 - Received a CINE Golden Eagle Award for the score to George Mason and the Bill of Rights (PBS)
  • 1990 - Composed the theme song and incidental music for Dr. T. and Company children's program, produced for the Jones Intercable Television Network

  • 1987 - Composed NOVA for Concert Band and Chorus, commissioned and premiered by the Northern Virginia Community College Band and Chorus for their 10th Anniversary Celebration, Alexandria, Virginia
  • 1986 - Received an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the score to The Potomac: American Reflections (PBS)
  • 1983 - Composed complete music for modern dance production of Cinderella produced by the YWCA & Source Theater Company, Washington, DC
  • 1980-1982 - Composed incidental music for Source Theater Company stage productions of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, The Queen and the Rebels by Ugo Betti, and Anna Christie by Eugene O'Neill
  • 1975 - Began private music composition studies in the Schillinger System of Musical Composition under the tutelage of Asher G. Zlotnik. Studies emphasized the mathematical basis of the arts, film music, and the semantics of music.
